I am really not a big fan of reading but once i get hooked to the story, i’ll never be able to rest until i finish the book. I’ve read Harry Potter books more than once, matter of fact i cannot even remember how many times I’ve read it.

I was surprised how much this book caught my attention. It’s not that well written compared to other books that i’ve read. Its not even that detailed compared to Harry Potter books where even the smallest of things are described perfectly. But the story was really interesting for me that i don’t want to stop reading until i finish it 

So i guess this post is going to be a review about this particular book, “The Hunger Games” by Suzzane Collins. Its actually a trilogy about a young girl named “Katniss Everdeen”. She saved her sister by volunteering as a tribute for the game called “The Hunger Games”. Together with other 2 tributes form 11 remaining districts, she finds herself fighting for her survival inside a place where all tributes are supposed to kill each other. The last one standing will be announced as a winner and will receive a big reward for their District and to their family.

Throughout the game, Katniss manages to survive and even break the rules. Rules that are serious for the Capitol and they see her as a threat to their sovereignty.  Katniss joined the game together with “Peeta Mellarck” a boy who made his love for Katniss as a strategy to keep them both alive in the game.

I am a person who loves mystery, adventure and creativity put up together. Maybe that’s why I love fiction. The only thing that i didn’t like about how the story was written was it lacked details. Details that could have made the plot even more interesting.

Well anyways, If you don’t love reading maybe the movie will interest you. I’ll leave you guys with the trailer and the OST of the movie “Safe and Sound” by Taylor Swift.

By the way, i think the songs suits the story very well! Thumbs up for Taylor Swift for doing this song, she sounds a bit different in this song. I didn’t know she can pull this kind of melody

I am currently reading the second book “Catching Fire”, Katniss is getting even more confused about her feelings. Well i’m not spilling anything here in case you guys want to read it

There will always be those photos wherein you just can’t stop staring at it because it brings back so many meaningful memories.

I am very close to my brother. Ever since my mother left to work abroad, we have been taking care of him and made sure that he gets the love and attention that he needs. He is not like any kids. He is so sweet and though he cannot talk like normal kids do, i can always feel and see the love that he has for his sisters 

Looking at those photos above reminded me of how much he had grown. He is much bigger now and he had gained weight. This brings me back to the days when we couldn’t understand why it took him so long to learn how to crawl, to walk and to say “mama and papa”. Back when we could not control his tantrums and how he would not eat anything except for “fried chicken”. Those days when he memorized all the countries, their capital city and their national flags. How he would draw the map of Europe, USA and South Africa and rewrite the whole index of our encyclopedia without looking at it. Back when his favorite toy was our encyclopedia and draw stuffs that he finds interesting. He was super thin back then but of course, super cute 

I love my brother so much. I could not ask for more. He is the common thread that holds our family together. Honestly, i could not imagine how our family would be like without him. He is a blessing in disguise and i thank God for everything. His birthday is coming up and he’ll be a year older. Oh how time flies so fast!

Weighing your tasks and responsibilities nowadays are really hard to accomplish. And i think i’m right when i say that i am not the only one who’s having this kind of problem. Lots of people have a hard time managing their time with their tasks or work. That’s why i think it’s important for us to manage our time efficiently so that not time would be wasted. And for me, the best way to find time management tips is thorough the internet. And i am 100% sure that you’ll eventually find the answers that you are looking for. What’s great about this book is that it teaches you how to manage your time in different aspects of life like in work, when your at home, or just playing. This will be a very big help to every one! Don’t waste time. Work efficiently and effectively.

Well, i made this post because i cannot make myself go to sleep even though i really want to. And oh by the way i purchased a new domain form godaddy with their $1 promo! Yay! It’s still not configured yet. I am going to host it on tumblr. So i hope this new domain would bring me luck this year in terms of online earnings! lol.
