I was browsing through my pictures when i saw this old folder containing the shots that i have taken during “A day with the Nikon Pros” seminar that i attended last year. I was just going to enhance the colors but i guess i got carried away and look at the result!

I’ve also tried using a picture of myself.

But that didn’t save us from arriving really late. I think we we’re the very last one to arrive.

There’s not much to talk about with this event. We just sat there, ate our dinner, listen to the host, watched some videos made by the staff as a tribute to both the graduates and the teachers, had our pictures taken and that’s it.

I think the highlight was when we had our dance competition. Every section was required to have a presentation. I laughed so hard with the “Mechanical Engineering” students presentation. Luckily someone took a video of it. Watch it! You’ll surely have fun!!

I also made a short video. It’s my first time to edit videos so sorry if it’s kinda lame lol.

Only 4 days left before i go to Cebu. I’ll be on hiatus i think for 6 months :( (i hope not, still waiting for that netbook ).

It’s a great feeling to know that I am now free from the hands of the school that gave me so many pain, I can’t even put into words how much I dislike the way some teachers treat their students, what they make us do things that are not necessary just to add on more burden for the student. The happiest moment of my life actually was when i knew i am included on the final list of graduating students that was a day before the graduation. I was in our house at that time and my friend texted me. As soon as i finished reading the message tears just started streaming down my face and i was like a crazy person inside our room, jumping, smiling and crying lol. The graduation was just an ordinary event for me, nothing special. Its not about what i was wearing, who i’m with, where i was and what i’m going to receive. It was all about the honor that you bought to yourself, to your parents, to your friends and most of all to God! I will never forget my student days in college.

Soon i’ll be leaving my home Davao to take my review in Cebu. I’m nervous and confused about everything. Questions after questions keep popping out of my mind. It will be my first time to live away from my family for 6 long months. I hope Cebu will be nice for me and for my classmates.

On my home, i really wanted to cry. but i held back my tears because i know my sister’s will be home waiting for me and i don’t want them to see me crying on my birthday. So when i arrived home, i acted happy but they already know that I’m tired from school so there’s no need to fake that part.

Tears came when I’m finally alone in our room. Everything’s just so stressful and i know it’s been stressful for my family too. Up until now, there’s still no assurance for graduation. All other courses are already having their graduation practice, us? Still busy complying requirements the best and fast way that we can.

Good thing these people below came and cheered me up. They never really fail to surprise me when I’m having the worst birthday ever. They did the same thing 2 years ago and I’m really thankful to have them as friends! It’s a very simple surprise but it helped me a lot in so many ways! I’ll be forever thankful to God for giving me perfect friends and family!

It can depend on your mood, how often you have done something, or what has happened to put you in a funk. I mean we all enjoy different things: a game on www.foxybingo.com, being nosey and Facebook stalking, playing tennis etcetera. Even our favourite projects and hobbies can lose our interest though. How do you evade this boredom?

Firstly you need to work out why are bored in the first place. Is it because your friends cancelled your plans at the last moment, and now you have time to fill up? Perhaps you have a routine that needs a shake up? Are you tired? Once you have worked out what is wrong, you are in a much better position to fix it, and entertain your mind again. For example, if you are tired, then a walk around the park or shops could wake you up.

The second step is to do something totally new. You have to break the routine in some form, except at obvious times like at work when you are paid to continue with it. Allow yourself to entertain the notion of doing something completely out of your comfort zone, and do it. Repetition is a common source for boredom, after all.

You should also try and change the way you think about things. For example, if you are always putting a negative spin on your life, your mind is more likely to spiral into a stupor, which is the emotional state boredom feeds off of. Give yourself powerful goals and a positive attitude, and you’ll fight off boredom like a pro.

Energy is a very important resource for us to have. Without it, we would not be able to carry out our every day task or even survive a day without having energy or electricity to power our computers, machines, systems etc. But only few methods are capable of providing enough amount of electricity to the millions of people needing it and unfortunately those methods are those which can greatly harm our beloved environment. If we are not careful, it might even lead to the depletion of our natural resources and if that happens, i have no doubt that  life will be much more difficult for us.

Wind energy is one of those methods of providing power without harming anything about our environment. Though it is not ideal to use when it is for larger industries, it can be perfect for a small scale environment. Not only is it clean but it is also very safe both for the people and the environment. Wind turbines can power your small home, office etc. wind turbine cost of course will depend on what type of wind turbine  you are aiming for. But there are also cheap wind turbines available. If you are planning to set up your own, here are some important parameter costs you should keep in mind. First one is the turbine cost, tower cost, installation cost and the maintenance cost. once you’ll grab hold of this, you are one step closer to having your own wind power system.

I really want my college days to be over. I don’t want to waste additional year of trying to impress our professors who’re not even doing their part. I mean, we are paying you aren’t we? So at least, teach us properly and give your best. It’s not even the students’ fault anymore, it’s the inability of the teacher to understand fully his/her job. It’s their fault, not ours. And yet, we are the ones who suffer for it.

(Takes a deep breath) Sorry about the rant, i just can’t blurt it out at school. At least i can say it here. I hope none of my classmates or teachers see this. Though i highly doubt i’ll be in trouble if ever they see it. But it’ll be awkward.

Anyways, i just can’t keep feeding my mind with negative possibilities can I? I have to keep moving on and trust God with His plans for me. It’s really difficult, but i cannot stop tomorrow for coming so I might as well face it keeping my dreams in mind and the hope that everything will be alright.
