Laugh and Cry

But friendship is the breathing rose, with sweets in every fold.
Oliver Wendell Holmes

Do you guys have some gay friends? If you do then you can probably relate to this post. Last Wednesday was my gay friend’s birthday. We prepared  little surprise for him, a poem that spells his name surrounded by his and our pictures and we placed it in a frame. He liked it and everything was ok until he got drunk and started saying things.

People say that you can be totally who you are when you’re drunk. I don’t drink and i’m glad i don’t when i saw what happened to my friend. I’ve known him since we were in first year high school and i never saw him act that way. I don’t know what he was thinking that day all i know is he wants to say something to us but he can’t the only way he can say it is when he is drunk.

He was crying and i know he’s hurt :( its weird seeing him that way because all i ever feel whenever when i’m with him was happiness. He always makes us laugh with his jokes. The things he said that day really affected our friendship especially to one of my friends.

I wish i could help him but i can’t think of a way and the fact that he’s gay makes it even more complicated. Imagine being in love with someone but you just can’t be together because its wrong and all you can do is keep it inside you pretending you are ok but deep inside your hurting so bad and your jealous of the people close to him/her especially when all of them are really close to you. I know its very hard for him i really do but our friendship is much more important that some guy! This is not the first time but this is definitely the worst so far.

I know that he knows that he made the wrong decision but somehow it did him and others some good. He can’t keep all of those emotions inside him forever. I just hope and pray that everything will go back to normal. I love these guys! This is just a test and we’ll get through it soon (hopefully).

that was sucha nice quote.. <3

I do have a gay bestfriend. His name is chuck and he's a new yorker.. He's one of those who can truly understand me. And though he's gay he looks straight as hell. lol he's well toned and even dresses up as a guy. LOL so sometimes people thought he's my boyfriend but whenever i tell them he's gay, they were like– what???

People are really like that sometimes whenever they're drunk. And this is what I hate about getting too drunk most of the time.. lol my advice to him is just look around for someone who can accept him for who he is.. plus, there are a lot of gay hotties around who would surely love to hangout with him..

hope that hes gonna feel better soon

I have gay friends and I love them too bits. But I must admit that I find it difficult to comfort. Such fragile creatures, they are. The only thing I tell them is that I love them and that they’re special. It always works. Like everybody else in the world homosexuals don’t need much but acceptance and love.

Well, it is really hard to be a homosexual. I have gay friends and I know the fact that they are longing for love too. I mean, romantic love. But it’s hard for them. It is much complicated on their part. Kaya nga they make us laugh through their jokes na lang.

I experienced having a gay friend before and gays are really sensitive when they are inlove. I dont know what happened to our friendship, maybe he is not really true to me. Our friendship is now gone forever.

I just wish your gay friend will be okay now.

I’ve never really had a gay friend but I know some gays at school but not close. They’re fun to be with yet sometimes they’re really emotional especially when someone tease them about their sexuality. I guess this world is really cruel. Hoping for your friend to be okay :)

Most of the people have masks. Like them, all of us are hiding many things inside us. But being homosexual is more different and complicated because they started to hide their feelings since they were too young and act like other people as they consider themselves as an abnormal being. They also have a right to love and be loved.

    Nice quote! :)

I must say that most gays are really sensitive when it comes to love. Not all, but most of the people I know are just wayyy too different when it involves their feelings. :)

I hope everything would be okay soon. :D

but hey… you guys are friends since first year high school. i don’t think you will let that incident affect your friendship. :D
