As a person who loves art, I have always been enthusiastically drawn to digital arts and graphics. One little Comeback Post
I have been meaning to create a comeback post since the end of our Board Exam but as you can see, I failed miserably on that. Thing is, I’ve been really busy and preoccupied with finding a new place, applying for a job, attending interviews and exams, updating my resume, visiting companies and other stressful stuffs a newly licensed Engineer must face. Yeah, you read it right. I passed the board exam! This time I ended up passing two licensure examinations, the other was the licensure examination for Electronics Technicians. God is so good and so much more. I owe it all to Him who watches and stays with me wherever and whatever situations I am in.
The moment I saw my name on that list, I was speechless for 3 seconds. Then the feeling was indescribable. Probably the happiest 5 minutes of my life this year. After that, I asked myself “Now what?”. Then I started worrying about my friends. Some of them didn’t make it. I saw how hard they worked, how they devoted their time and effort just to study and prepare for the board exam. I know how painful it is, I’ve been there. As much as I want to say comforting words to them, I chose not to.Because I know it won’t make things any better, it won’t change the results. But I knew that they won’t give up. Times like these, you just have to keep on fighting, that’s what I did.
What’s next for me? Well as much as I want to be with my family and friends back home, I think it’s time for me to take that one important step out of my comfort zone. I decided to stay here in Cebu. There’s just not that much opportunity for ECE’s like me back home. With God’s help, I know I can find a job that will both help me and my family.
I made and met new friends, became more independent and became even closer to God. Everything really does have its purpose. One thing I love about Cebu, it helped me find myself and realize so many things about God.
One thing I surely miss right now, is the comfort of the dormitory, my roommates, the room 4L and everything that goes with it. I admit now that the exam is over, everything’s back to just being a big question mark in front of me. Everything’s blurred out but as what they all say, “Good things come to those who wait”, I shall see answers and results soon.
Anyways, it’s good to be back in the blogging world.
